Worlds most expensive wedding – $60 million 5 day event extravaganza in France
The wedding was in June 2004, of Vanisha Mittal, daughter of an Indian billionare, and Amit Bhatia, an investment banker.
12 chartered jets flew 1000 guests into France, the wine alone cost 1.5 million.Guests were treated to over 100 dishes serviced by a top chef flown in from India. Invitations were dispatched in a 20 page silver book. Stars performed at the Bollywood themed afterparty.
The free fairytale wedding
It was at Sanderling Resort and Spa in North Carolina. In April 2012, the wedding of Air Force 2nd Lt. John Avrett and Meghan Kinney. Meghan and John beat out 209 other couples to win the Salute to Love contest granting a dream wedding to a military couple.75 guests and $120000. The prizes included a bachelor/bachelorette outing, rehearsal dinner, farewell brunch, flowers, multiple photography sessions, venue, cake, and a wedding dress.

Michelle and Daniel got married on June 8, 2012 at Disney’s grand Floridian Resort & Wedding Pavilion. A minimum of 18 guests are required for a Wishes Wedding. Minimum cost for Disney Wishes Wedding starts at $12000. Michelle rode to the venue in true Fairytale style – with a Cinderella pumpkin coach complete with driver, two footmen in full regalia, and pulled by six Welsh ponies.
